Industrial systems, membranes and modules for pervaporation separation processes
Pervatech supplies systems, membranes and technology to recover components out of a liquid mixture by pervaporation. This membrane separation technique is especially suitable for dewatering of organic solvents or removing organics selectively from aqueous streams – separations that are otherwise hard or energy-intensive to do.
Pervaporation responds to two major industrial trends: CO2 reduction, that is, energy savings in processes, and circularity, that is, reuse of raw materials.
For process intensification purposes, pervaporation membrane/membrane separation technology can very well be integrated into other chemical (separation) processes: smart combinations with compact equipment for efficient processes. Examples are the breaking of azeotropes and in-situ dehydration during reactions.
